What is the Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle?
Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle is a charitable raffle benefiting San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House, helping provide a home away from home for families with a child receiving medical care. For more than 15 years, community participation has supported housing, meals, and essential services for families, while also giving participants a chance to win thousands of life-changing prizes throughout the raffle. Who is eligible to buy a Raffle Ticket?
The raffle is open to those 18 years of age or older, and physically in the state of California at the time of ticket purchase.
Ronald McDonald House San Diego employees, members of the Ronald McDonald House San Diego Board of Trustees, Ronald McDonald House San Diego authorized agents, and vendors assisting our raffle database are excluded from participating and are not eligible to win a prize. Additionally, persons living in the same household as a Ronald McDonald House San Diego employee or Trustee are not eligible to participate.
All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Read more in our Rules.

What are the major deadlines for the raffle?
There are two key entry deadlines to keep in mind:
Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT This is the deadline to purchase Add-On Tickets for the 1st Add-On Drawing. Add-On Tickets purchased by this deadline will also remain eligible for the Final Add-On Drawing. The 1st Add-On winner will be drawn on Wednesday, November 4.
Friday, November 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT This is the final deadline to purchase Raffle Tickets and Add-On Tickets, unless Raffle Tickets sell out sooner. Purchases made by this deadline will be eligible for the applicable Grand Prize, Multi-Ticket, and Final Add-On Drawings.
The Grand Prize, Multi-Ticket, and Final Add-On winners will be drawn on Thursday, December 3.
Do I have to be present to win?
No, you do not have to be present to win or claim any prize.
What is the 1st Add-On Drawing?
The 1st Add-On Drawing is an extra opportunity to win for participants who purchase Add-On Tickets by Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.
Any Add-On Ticket purchased by that deadline is automatically entered into both the 1st Add-On Drawing and the Final Add-On Drawing.
Add-On Tickets are separate from regular Raffle Tickets and are only eligible for the two Add-On Drawings. They are not entered into the Grand Prize or Multi-Ticket Drawings.
What is a Multi-Ticket Drawing?
The Multi-Ticket Drawing is a bonus drawing for participants who purchase 3 or more Raffle Tickets in a single transaction.
When you purchase 3 or more Raffle Tickets at once, those tickets are eligible for the Grand Prize Drawing, and your qualifying purchase also earns entry into the Multi-Ticket Drawing.
The Multi-Ticket Drawing is separate from the Grand Prize Drawing and offers its own prize choices.
How do I get my ticket numbers?
Participants will receive confirmation of their ticket purchase, which include their ticket numbers, at the email address provided at the time of ticket purchase from sdcarraffle@rmhsandiego.org - Always check your spam or junk folder.
If our records indicate an issue with your email, including being unsubscribed from our email lists or having an invalid email, which may include a soft bounce, hard bounce, or otherwise errored email, we will send a copy of your raffle receipt to the billing address provided.
If you have not received your email confirmation within one business day of purchase, you may call 833-524-2128 (available M-F, 8 am-5 pm PT), email office@sdraffle.com. Or, you may wait up to 10 business days for a copy of your receipt to arrive in the mail.
Are Raffle Tickets tax-deductible?
No. According to the IRS, amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and consequently do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions.
How can I make a tax-deductible contribution to Ronald McDonald House San Diego?

Your generosity keeps families close to their hospitalized child, providing the support they need during a medical crisis.
Are raffle prizes considered income?
Yes. Ronald McDonald House San Diego will withhold taxes for prizes with values that exceed state or federal mandates. All prize winners of $600 or more may be required to submit an IRS Form 1099-MISC and/or a W-2G to be awarded the prize.
Will drawings be audited?
Yes. An independent auditor will audit all tickets as well as supervise all raffle drawings.

How do I claim or redeem my prize?
We will contact prize winners using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. Please allow up to 5 business days for Ronald McDonald House San Diego to reach out to you prior to contacting the organization about your win.
