Official Rules & Regulations
I. General Information
Ronald McDonald House® San Diego, Inc., a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, is conducting this raffle as allowed under California Penal Code Section 320.5, to raise funds for ongoing charitable purposes. The Rules and Regulations of the Ronald McDonald House San Diego raffle are set forth below. By purchasing a Raffle Ticket, the purchaser agrees to be bound by these rules and regulations. Ronald McDonald House San Diego’s interpretation and application of the rules and regulations shall be final.
All eligible Raffle Tickets are included in the Grand Prize Drawing. No more than 10,000 Raffle Tickets will be sold. Tickets will not be sold after 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on November 20, 2026. Tickets may sell out before that time.
The Grand Prize Drawing will take place on December 3, 2026, subject to rescheduling, as more particularly described below. An independent auditor will supervise the drawing. Raffle Tickets that meet certain eligibility requirements may also be awarded entry or entries into separate or bonus drawings for more prizes, such the Multi-Ticket Drawing, 1st Add-On Drawing or Final Add-On Drawing. Winners need not be present to win a prize in any drawing.
According to the IRS, amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and consequently, do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions.

AS CONSIDERATION FOR THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RAFFLE, EACH PARTICIPANT WAIVES, RELEASES AND FOREVER DISCHARGES RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SAN DIEGO, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, ATTORNEYS, VOLUNTEERS, AND CONSULTANTS, FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY OF ANY KIND FOR RIGHTS, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, INJURIES, LOSSES, COSTS, EXPENSES, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES, OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING IN TORT, CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, IN CONNECTION WITH, OR, AS A RESULT OF, PARTICIPATION IN THE RAFFLE, WINNING ANY PRIZE, OR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE. FURTHERMORE, EACH WINNER AGREES TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SAN DIEGO ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, ATTORNEYS, VOLUNTEERS AND CONSULTANTS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS, EXPENSES, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES, AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM, IN CONNECTION WITH, OR AS A RESULT OF, PARTICIPATING IN THE RAFFLE OR WINNING, ACCEPTING, POSSESSING, USING OR MISUSING ANY PRIZE.
FURTHER, EACH PARTICIPANT HEREBY WAIVES THE PROVISIONS OF CIVIL CODE SECTION 1542, WHICH STATES THE FOLLOWING:
“A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RLEASING PARTY DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR RELEASED PARTY.”
CERTAIN PRIZE WINNERS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER, WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WRITTEN AGREEMENT CONFIRMING THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED RELEASE AND WAIVER AS A CONDITION TO RECEIVING SUCH PRIZE(S).
II. Raffle Tickets
Single Raffle Tickets are $100 each. Discounted, Multi-Ticket packs will be sold at the following prices: 3-packs consisting of three (3) Raffle Tickets are $250, 5-packs consisting of five (5) Raffle Tickets are $400, and 10-packs consisting of ten (10) Raffle Tickets are $500.
Only one method of payment, one name, and one mailing address are permitted per Raffle Ticket or Raffle Ticket pack (“ticket transaction”).
Only one eligible person may be entered in the raffle per ticket transaction. If the name of more than one person is submitted with a ticket transaction, and the Raffle Ticket or a Raffle Ticket from the Raffle Ticket pack is selected as a winning Raffle Ticket, then the person named first will be deemed the holder of record of that ticket and declared the winner. Division of any prize by a group purchasing a Raffle Ticket in common shall be the sole responsibility of the person named as the holder of record of that Raffle Ticket, should that Raffle Ticket be selected as a winner.
Ronald McDonald House San Diego reserves the right to refuse to accept or reject any entry for any reason, including but not limited to entries submitted with payments that do not constitute “good funds”, e.g. funds fully and immediately available for withdrawal. Ronald McDonald House San Diego reserves the right to require an alternate payment method.
Prior to the Grand Prize Drawing, Ronald McDonald House San Diego will make a reasonable effort to notify any individual whose entry is not accepted or is rejected. Ronald McDonald House San Diego will attempt to make contact from the information provided at the time of the attempted ticket purchase. Ronald McDonald House San Diego assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered packages or fax messages, or any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to the drawing deadlines. All defective or physically altered entries will be immediately disqualified by Ronald McDonald House San Diego.
A RAFFLE PARTICIPANT’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR A BREACH OR ERROR BY RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SAN DIEGO SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE RETURN OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR HIS OR HER RAFFLE TICKET(S). IN NO EVENT SHALL RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SAN DIEGO, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, ATTORNEYS, VOLUNTEERS, CONSULTANTS OR REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURIES TO EARNINGS, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES TO ANY PERSON OR ENTITY WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
III. How to Purchase:
Any eligible individual may purchase as many Raffle Tickets or Raffle Ticket packs as they may wish, subject to availability.
Ticket(s) or ticket packs may be purchased one of five ways: (1) Go to orders.sdcarraffle.com and follow instructions to submit order information via SMS text. (2) Call 1-888-824-9939 to place an order by phone and provide name, address, and phone number along with credit card number, credit card security code and expiration date. All major credit cards are accepted. Phone lines are open 24/7. (3) Mail an order form with payment to Ronald McDonald House San Diego, Memo: Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle, 2929 Children’s Way, San Diego, CA 92123. (4) Place an order in-person at Ronald McDonald House San Diego, located at 2929 Children’s Way, San Diego, CA 92123, between 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. local time. (5) Print the order form provided at www.sdcarraffle.com and fax the order form to 619-916-3892.
Tickets cannot be purchased by email. Any entry form submitted by email will be rejected. All entries must include payment by cash, credit card, check, cashier’s check, or money order. No refunds will be made except under the following circumstances: (1) a ticket order whose payment is received after 10,000 Raffle Tickets have been sold; or (2) a ticket order whose payment is received after November 20, 2026. No other refunds are available except at the exclusive discretion of Ronald McDonald House San Diego. Ronald McDonald House San Diego assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered packages or fax messages, or any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to drawing deadlines.
IV. Selection of Grand Prize Drawing Winners:
The Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle Grand Prize Drawing will be held on December 3, 2026 with all eligible Raffle Tickets. The Grand Prize Drawing will be held under the supervision of an independent auditor.
The list of winners will be posted on www.sdcarraffle.com or may also be obtained from Ronald McDonald House San Diego by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Hoehn Motors Luxury Car Raffle, 2929 Children’s Way, San Diego, CA 92123 within 30 days of the drawing.
Winners will be notified according to the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. Ronald McDonald House San Diego will notify all winners by email and US mail. All cash prize winners will be notified by telephone and then by email and US mail.
If the grand prize winner cannot be located by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on December 10, 2026, after RMHC-SD has attempted to contact the winner with the contact information provided at the time of ticket transaction, the winner’s prize will become the cash alternative. Another winner will not be selected for such prize.
In order to collect their prize, a ticket winner from any drawing may be required to sign and deliver to Ronald McDonald House San Diego: (a) such written information as is required by any applicable tax and/or real estate laws, including, without limitation, his or her Social Security Number; and (b) proof of identity in forms satisfactory to Ronald McDonald House San Diego showing that the person claiming the prize is the same person who is named on the winning Raffle Ticket.
A winner of any prize valued at $600 or more may be required to submit a W-2G, Form 5754, Form W-9 or similar tax form for tax reporting and/or withholding purposes. If tax forms are required for a prize win, the completed forms must be received by Ronald McDonald House San Diego no later than March 1, 2027, to claim the prize; otherwise, the prize will be considered forfeited. A winner of any prize valued at $1,500 or more may be required to remit mandatory state or federal withholding to Ronald McDonald House San Diego. If withholding is required, the winner must remit the full balance of the withholding to Ronald McDonald House San Diego within 10 business days of his or her prize selection. If payment is not received within 10 business days, the prize will become the cash alternative, and Ronald McDonald House San Diego will remit the balance of the cash prize to the winner after subtracting the withholding amount.
Prizes are taxable in the year the prize is distributed, either the date the check was issued or when the physical prize was provided. For example, if someone won a cash prize on December 3, 2026 but did not receive the check until January 5, 2027, we would issue their tax forms for the tax year 2027. These forms would be mailed to the winner by January 31, 2028. The IRS recognizes that the date won in Box 2 of IRS form W-2G may not be the date winnings are actually paid, and it’s appropriate to report the winnings in the year the funds were remitted.
V. Eligibility:
The raffle is open to any individual who is 18 years of age or older and within the state of California at the time of ticket purchase. Ronald McDonald House San Diego employees, and Ronald McDonald House San Diego authorized agents and vendors assisting Ronald McDonald House San Diego in conducting the raffle are excluded from participating and are not eligible to win a prize and neither are members of the Board of Trustees, their spouses, and dependent children of the same household. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law. An affidavit of eligibility may be required of prize winners.
VI. Prizes:
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SAN DIEGO TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WINNER’S TAX LIABILITIES. CONSULT YOUR TAX ADVISOR.
Vehicle Prizes
Winners must assume all fees, local, state and federal taxes (including, but not limited to, income taxes and sales taxes based on the value of the vehicle), winners’ respective financing costs, if applicable, and license fees. Likewise, there are federal taxes and potential state and/or local tax consequences if a winner selects the alternate cash prize.
Where there is a vehicle prize, the following procedures must be completed for fulfillment:
Winner Selection: The winner must notify Ronald McDonald House San Diego of their prize choice in writing by the Selection Deadline (as defined in section VII) via mailed letter or email sent to Roxanna Reardon at rreardon@rmhsandiego.org. Ronald McDonald House San Diego will then provide a Selection Confirmation Letter to the winner confirming the final prize value and the maximum Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”).
Vehicle Selection: Ronald McDonald House San Diego will present the Selection Confirmation Letter to our dedicated Hoehn Motors sales representative.
Agreement with Dealership: The winner will enter into a purchase agreement directly with the dealership and sign all necessary documentation for the vehicle purchase. The dealership will notify Roxanna Reardon of the completed purchase agreement. If the final selected vehicle includes any upgrades or features beyond the model listed in the Rules, the winner is solely responsible for all costs associated at the time of the signed Purchase Agreement. This includes but is not limited to upgrades, option packages, delivery or travel fees, and any other fees.
Submission to Ronald McDonald House San Diego: The Hoehn Motors sales representative must provide Ronald McDonald House San Diego with a copy of the signed purchase agreement and all payment details including, but not limited to the window sticker, purchasing agreement, and final proof of payment.
Tax Reporting and Withholding: (a) Ronald McDonald House San Diego will issue a Form W-2G covering the combined value of the cash prize and the car prize where present. (b) Federal withholding will be calculated based on the total value of both prizes.
Distribution of Cash Prize: Where a cash is available with the prize vehicle package, cash will be issued to the winner in the form of a check with 15 business days, less required federal withholding, after receiving the winner-signed W-2G.
Distribution of Vehicle Prize: (a) If the withholding requirement is fully satisfied through the cash prize deduction above, Ronald McDonald House San Diego will remit payment to the dealership for the vehicle, and no further action is required from the winner. (b) If the cash prize is not sufficient to cover the full federal withholding, the winner must remit the balance of the withholding directly to Ronald McDonald House San Diego prior to the release of payment to Hoehn Motors for the vehicle.
If a winner selects a vehicle as their prize, he or she must complete all vehicle fulfillment procedures detailed in section VI. Prizes by February 1, 2027. If all vehicle fulfillment procedures are not completed by that date, the winner’s prize will become the cash alternative. If all cash alternative fulfillment forms and procedures are not completed by March 1, 2027, the prize will be considered forfeited.
All Manufacturer Suggested Retail Prices (“MSRP”), Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”), and estimated values (“Est. Value”) listed in the prize descriptions are confirmed at the time of publication of the Raffle Rules. Ronald McDonald House San Diego is not responsible for any price changes to prizes and will award the prize based on the value listed in the Rules. If the value of a prize changes between the time of publication of the Rules and awarding of the prize, prize winner will bear the risk and is responsible to pay any difference in price.
Experience Prizes
Experience prizes are as described on the Ronald McDonald House San Diego raffle website. Experience prizes are transferable. Experience prizes must be used by the specific deadline established for the respective vacation package. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Gratuities and fees are the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise noted. Winners of Experience prizes must comply with all applicable requirements and restrictions related to said prizes including, without limitation: applicable travel dates, age restrictions, liability waivers, travel documentation and reservation and confirmation procedures. Flights, transportation, and food are not included in any Experience prize. Blockout dates are located on the Experience website links and within the Terms & Conditions of the displays and winner certificates.
Where there is a cash package included with an Experience, the following procedures must be completed for fulfillment:
Winner Selection: The winner must notify Ronald McDonald House San Diego of their prize choice in writing by the Selection Deadline via mailed letter or email sent to Roxanna Reardon at rreardon@rmhsandiego.org.
Tax Reporting and Withholding: (a) Ronald McDonald House San Diego will issue a Form W-2G covering the combined value of the cash prize and the Experience prize. (b) Federal withholding will be calculated based on the total value of all prizes.
Distribution of Cash Prize: Where a cash is available with the prize experience package, cash will be issued to the winner in the form of a check with 15 business days, less required federal withholding, after receiving the winner-signed W-2G.
Distribution of Experience Prize: (a) If the withholding requirement is fully satisfied through the cash prize deduction, Ronald McDonald House San Diego will remit payment to the respective vendor for the Experience, who will then coordinate the Experience details with the winner separately. (b) If the cash prize is not sufficient to cover the full federal withholding, the winner must remit the balance of the withholding directly to Ronald McDonald House San Diego before Ronald McDonald House San Diego will finalize payment to the vendor for the Experience.

All taxes, gratuities, shipping charges, and fees are the responsibility of winners who make non-cash prize selections for all prizes in the Multi-Ticket Drawing, 1st Add-On Drawing, Final Add-On Drawing, and the Grand Prize Drawing.
At the time of publishing, all prizes are either confirmed available or expected to be available at the time of prize awarding. Prizes may be substituted at the discretion of Ronald McDonald House San Diego for a similar product of equal or greater value. Most prizes are expected to ship within six weeks of the drawing date. Some prizes may take more than six weeks to ship; Ronald McDonald House San Diego is not responsible for any carrier or manufacturer delay.
All taxes, gratuities, and fees are the responsibility of winners who make non-cash prize selections for all prizes in the Multi-Ticket Drawing, Add-On Drawings, and the Grand Prize Drawing.
VII. Grand Prize Drawing Winners
All winners of prizes in the Grand Prize Drawing must make their prize selection among available options in writing by December 10, 2026 (“Selection Deadline”).
For Grand Prize Drawing winners 1-5, if the winner does not designate his or her prize choice in writing by the Selection Deadline, he or she will be awarded the cash alternative.
For Grand Prize Drawing winners 6-15, if the winner does not designate his or her prize choice in writing by the Selection Deadline, he or she will be awarded the $500 Gift Card alternative.
No changes to prize selection will be accepted after the Selection Deadline.
Grand Prize, 1st Place: 1 winner. Winner’s choice of one of the following: (1) 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC® SUV plus $10,000 Cash (MSRP: $81,830, ARV: $91,830); (2) 2027 Audi Q8 Premium plus $10,000 Cash (MSRP: $78,295, ARV: $88,295), (3) 2027 Porsche Macan 4 Electric plus $10,000 Cash (MSRP: $86,350, ARV: $96,350), or (4) $90,000 Cash.
2nd Place: 1 winner. Winner’s choice of one of the following: (1) Barbados Island Adventure plus $1,200 Cash (ARV: $5,750); (2) European Grand Tour plus $1,200 Cash (ARV: $5,150); or (3) $5,000 Cash.
3rd Place: 1 winner. Winner’s choice of one of the following: (1) 2026 Samsung 85" Class Neo QLED QN80H 4K Smart TV (ARV: $3,499.99) ; (2) Greek Island Escape plus $1,000 Cash (ARV: $2,950); or (3) $3,000 Cash.
4th Place: 1 winner. Winner’s choice of one of the following: (1) Chef’s Table at Home Experience plus $500 Cash (ARV: $2,350); (2) 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro with M5 Chip, 24GB Unified Memory, 1TB SSD (ARV: $2,199); or (3) $2,000 Cash.
5th Place: 1 winner. Winner’s choice of one of the following: (1) Torrey Pines Tee Off (ARV: $974); (2) Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Camera with RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens Kit (ARV: $1,020); or (3) $1,000 Cash.
6th – 15th Place: 1 winner. Winner’s choice of one of the following: (1) GoPro HERO13 plus Accessories Bundle (ARV: $522.96); (2) 23-Piece Gift Set with YETI Hopper Flip® 18 Soft Cooler (ARV: $546.20); or (3) $500 Virtual Gift Card from PerfectGift.com.
VIII. Other Drawings
The following drawings and prizes are subject to the same rules and regulations set forth above for the Grand Prize Drawing unless stated otherwise.
Multi-Ticket Drawing
The Multi-Ticket Drawing is a bonus drawing for eligible entrants who purchase three or more Raffle Tickets in one ticket transaction. Multi-Ticket Drawing entry tickets are not sold separately and are only offered as an added benefit to qualifying Raffle Ticket transactions.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries, not to exceed 10,000 entries. The Multi-Ticket Drawing will be held on December 3, 2026 for all eligible entries.
Multi-Ticket Prize: 1 Winner. Winner’s choice of one of the following: (1) 2026 Honda Ridgeline® Sport (MSRP: $42,745); (2) 2026 Honda Prelude Hybrid (MSRP: $43,195); or (3) $40,000 Cash.
Any individual who buys a Raffle Ticket 3-Pack, Raffle Ticket 5-Pack, or more Raffle Tickets will be entered into the Multi-Ticket Drawing, subject to the following: (1) entrants must purchase three or more Raffle Tickets during the same ticket transaction, (2) use one method of payment, (3) use the same name on each Raffle Ticket, and (4) list the same mailing address on each eligible Raffle Ticket.
The Multi-Ticket Drawing consists of a drawing bin and corresponding tickets separate from the main Grand Prize Drawing bin and tickets. For each eligible Raffle Ticket purchased, one Raffle Ticket will be added to the Grand Prize Drawing bin, and a corresponding entry ticket will be added to the dedicated Multi-Ticket Drawing bin. For example, if three Raffle Tickets are purchased, three tickets will be entered into the Multi-Ticket Drawing and three tickets will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. If four Raffle Tickets are purchased, four tickets will be entered into the Multi-Ticket Drawing and four tickets will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing, and so forth.
The Multi-Ticket winner must make their prize selection among available options by December 10, 2026. If the winner does not designate their prize choice in writing by this time, they will be awarded the cash alternative. If the Multi-Ticket winner does not complete all cash fulfillment forms and procedures by March 1, 2027, the prize will be considered forfeited.
No changes to prize selection will be accepted after December 10, 2026.
Add-On Drawings
The Add-On Drawing are additional drawings, separate from the Grand Prize Drawing or any bonus drawing. Add-On Drawings are eligible for Add-On Ticket purchasers, with the 1st Add-On Drawing scheduled for November 4, 2026.
An individual can purchase as many Add-On Tickets or Add-On Ticket packs as he or she may wish; there is no maximum number of Add-On Tickets that may be sold. An Add-On Ticket may exclusively be available for purchase in the same transaction as one or more Raffle Tickets. Participation in Add-On Drawings is optional and not required for Raffle Ticket purchasers.
Single Add-On Tickets are $20 each. No Add-On Tickets may be purchased without a Raffle Ticket; Add-On Ticket orders will not be accepted after the original Raffle Ticket order date. Minimum order will then be $120 total, which includes One Raffle Ticket with One Add-On Ticket.
Add-On Tickets are only eligible for Add-On Drawings, and not Grand Prize or Multi-Ticket Drawings. Add-On Ticket name and contact information may not differ from Raffle Ticket(s) of the same order. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries in any Add-On Drawing. Add-On Ticket(s) for orders received by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 23, 2026 will be included in both (2) Add-On Drawings. All such Add-On Ticket(s), including all winning Add-On Ticket(s) from previous Add-On Drawing(s), will be included in all subsequent Add-On Drawing(s), if applicable.

Final Add-On Drawing
Entry Deadline: Friday, November 20, 2026
Drawing Date: Thursday, December 3, 2026
Prize: 1 Winner. $10,000 Cash.
Each Add-On Drawing consists of a drawing bin and corresponding tickets separate from the main Grand Prize Drawing bin and tickets. For each eligible Add-On Ticket purchased by October 23, 2026, one Add-On Ticket will be added to the 1st Add-On Drawing bin, and a corresponding entry ticket will also be added to the Final Add-On Drawing bin. For example, if one Add-On Ticket is purchased by October 23, 2026, one ticket will be entered into the 1st Add-On Drawing AND one ticket will be entered into the Final Add-On Drawing, and so forth.
The Final Add-On Drawing will consist of all eligible Add-On Tickets purchased by November 20, 2026, including all winning and non-winning ticket entries from the 1st Add-On Drawing.
If an Add-On winner does not complete all cash fulfillment forms and procedures by March 1, 2027, the prize will be considered forfeited.
IX. Other Terms and Conditions:
Any prize vehicle, if selected, will be transferred to the winner “AS IS, WHERE IS, AND WITH ALL FAULTS.” RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SAN DIEGO DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION OR CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE. NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE GIVEN AND NO AFFIRMATION OF RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SAN DIEGO BY WORDS AND/OR ACTIONS WILL CONSTITUTE A WARRANTY.
Ronald McDonald House San Diego makes no guarantee that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will accept that value of vehicles, experiences, or other prizes for the purpose of determining any income tax that may be due from winners.
ANY CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CONTRACT, OR THE BREACH THEREOF, SHALL BE SETTLED BY BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION (PURSUANT TO ITS EXPEDITED PROCEDURES) UNDER ITS COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION RULES, AND JUDGMENT ON THE AWARD RENDERED BY THE ARBITRATOR MAY BE ENTERED IN ANY COURT HAVING JURISDICTION THEREOF.
THE FORMATION, INTERPRETATION, AND PERFORMANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA.
By purchasing a Raffle Ticket and choosing to participate in the raffle, each raffle participant acknowledges and agrees that Ronald McDonald House San Diego has the right, in its sole discretion, to elect not to proceed with the raffle for any reason whatsoever or for no reason, and in such event, a participant’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be to receive a refund of the full price paid by such participant for each Raffle Ticket purchased, without interest.
X. Registration with the State of California:
By letter from the Attorney General’s office, Ronald McDonald House® of San Diego, Inc. has registered with the Department of Justice under Raffle Registration Number R-4009 and is authorized to conduct raffles in California pursuant to the provisions of Penal Code section 320.5 for the raffle period which begins January 1, 2026 and ends December 31, 2026. Registration does not imply endorsement.
