For families with a hospitalized child, being close matters. Ronald McDonald House San Diego provides a home away from home where families can stay near their child, share meals, find support, and focus on what matters most during an incredibly difficult time. 

Located just 300 steps from Rady Children’s Hospital, our House provides lodging, meals, resources, and compassionate care at no cost to families. Through our Family Support Services program, families can get help navigating the emotional and practical challenges that come with a child’s medical crisis by providing guidance, connection, and resources during their stay and beyond.

Your raffle participation helps make this support possible. Each year, our House: 

• Provides more than 29,000 lodging nights free of charge to families with a child in the hospital  

• Provides three meals daily to 1,400 overnight guests, as well as family members using our day-use program  

• Welcomes more than 46,000 day-use visitors  

• Provides lodging, meals, and essential support at no cost to families
